1. I must admit that I am lost and that I need help.
2. I must acknowledge that on my own, I have failed.
3. I must commit to seeking out and confronting the cause of my pain.
4. The decision to make Jesus Christ my LORD and Savior comes with the commitment of confession of sin to God and to men.
5. I set my hope on Christ alone, knowing he’s the key to my victory!
6. I will actively participate in the community of recovered believers in order to endure.
7. I must have daily communion with the Holy Spirit in order to recognize Christ within me, which reveals the areas of lack.
8. I must desire to be transformed into the image of Christ, so that I can forgive myself and others around me.
9. We must understand that our lack of identity pulled us away from God, but Christ reconciled us to the Father as sons.
10. We must acknowledge that grace has no end, and we must pursue intimacy with the God of all creation, that we call ABBA!
11. We now bear the image of Christ in authority and power by the Holy Spirit.
12. I now bear the signature of God himself, which is our testimony, and it is our command to share it!

This is my Bible. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My Bible is my friend. It is my life. I must study it as I survey my life. Without me, my Bible is useless. Without my Bible, I am useless. I must study my Bible’s truth. I must use it to rebuke my enemy. I must rebuke him before he destroys me. I will, before the Lord, I promise. My Bible and myself are defenders of my community. The Lord JESUS is the savior of my life. So be it. Until there is no enemy.
