God fully forgives us, but the karma of our harms remain. We must go back and repair the damage we have done. Otherwise, others will not be able to forgive us and can remain stuck. Both parties usually remain wounded. We need to make amends to even forgive ourselves.

When we move on to higher orders of love and transformation, we do not simply jump over the earlier stages. We must go back and rectify past wrongs. Otherwise there may be no healing for the future for us or those we have have harmed.

One key feature of this work is that we remain open and willing to clean up this wreckage at the appropriate opportunity. We will want to utilize the council of an experienced, qualified individual such as our sponsor or clergy.
