Love Cures

If we do not remain in God's hands we will be powerless over the progression of an incurable and fatal malady. It will worsen until it kills. Obsessions and compulsions are the products of a battlefield in the minds of afflicted addicts/alcoholics. It seems to be bourn of a particular complex consisting of a low self-esteem which is compensated for by an unhealthy egoism. The opinions of others, fancied or real and lack of self acceptance were real problems for us. We learn that God, sometimes through the 12 steps and other people, gives us the power to really Love others Love ourselves and Love creation without prejudice.
