Moral Devilry

Overmoralization is its own form of devilry. Putting ourselves in a position of judgment over everything we experience often does more harm than good. We put ourselves in a position to fight for our moral and philosophical convictions, convictions we may not be able to live up to. This creates conflict within the self. This conflict leads to negative emotions, which ultimately stem from fear. Fear and love do not mix well. Unconditional love transcends morality.
