“This is the covenant I will make with my people of Israel, after that time,”declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts. I will be there God, and they will be my people. Jeremiah 31:23

They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them. Romans 2:15
