Self-Centeredness is at the root of our Problem
The root of many of our problems seems to be a certain type of selfishness that causes us to feel like a desert island. We become isolated and recluse from Father God's whole Creation. In this state of spiritual rebellion we are lacking any real unity or fellowship with God or others. The thirst for unity with Creator will become unbearable until we begin to try to fill this God size void with anything. At some point all of this self-service and self-reliance catastrophically fails.
We must develop an intimate relationship with a loving father God of our own understanding. We must tear down stereotypes, prejudices and preconceived notions which have been blocking us from the sunlight of the spirit. We must be reborn in spirit. We learn to trust infinite God rather than our finite selves. We see the awesome splendor of our Creator living in all creation in this very moment and have peace in the spirit in the moment. Then all is well , if only in this moment. Which is really all we have, right now.
