White Flag

Pay attention to the soldier in the moment when he has lost all hope in the midst of combat. His intentions, his movements, his body language. All the gears driving his momentum have ceased. He must place himself in a position of perfect neutrality, calmly placing the weapon at his feet. He doesn't throw it down with an attitude. He doesn't snicker or scoff. He slowly relinquishes control of the situation to his adversary, places his hands behind his head and positions himself on his knees. This is the posture of our heart in step 3.
