Appreciating People's Faith/It's Okay

Instead of regarding ourselves as intelligent agents, spearheads of God’s ever-advancing Creation, many of us chose to believe that our human intelligence was the last word, the alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Rather vain of us, wasn't it?

We beg of you to lay aside all prejudice against organized religion. We have learned that whatever the human frailties of various faiths may be, those faiths have given purpose and direction to millions of people. People of Faith have sound, logical ideals of what life is all about. Trapped in our addiction we had little or no reasonable conception of this whatsoever. I can appreciate all people of Faith who trust their God, regardless of their protestations.
