Consultation With A Higher Power

How many times have I gone seeking advice without praying about it first? If God is going to be the director of my life shouldn't He be the first Order of contact in all of my affairs?

It's so blatantly obvious that this is the way we should live our lives, yet we fall short so much of the time. What helps me out in this area is when a person comes to me asking for advice and my response is “Have you prayed about this?” That should be my response to self when I am pondering the issues of life.

This day when you are facing indecision please take the time to pause and ask God for a solution. Your heavenly father will guide you when you ask him.
