We take daily inventory to keep us from flying off the beam to absurd extremes. It's so easy for our emotions and opinions to get us so far off-center if we allow them to. We examine our feelings and ask ourselves why we have them. Simply ask what has been harmed, threatened, or interfered with.

We resolutely look for our own mistakes. Where have we been selfish, dishonest, or afraid? Whom have we harmed? We can admit our wrongs honestly and take corrective measures.

We are not necessarily radicals or reformers in every situation. We are simply seeking to see where we can be helpful to God's children. Nothing more is required.
