Brotherly Love

The Spiritual Principle of step 8 is brotherly love. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

We are preparing to clean up the wreckage of the past. We want to be willing to set straight any harm that we have done to others in the past based on our selfish behavior. Doing this can relieve much of the blockage between ourselves and our higher power. We want to be decisive about the people we have harmed and we want to be prepared to present the list to our sponsor. Our sponsor will help us handle each individual case with a spiritual and loving demeanor. When dealing with amends we want to be careful not to have certain expectations about the outcome. Our sponsor will encourage Us in this way also.
