Pray for Your Enemy

Generally when we are angry with someone it is because they have threatened, harmed, or interfered with our pride, self-esteem, personal relationships, sex relations, security, personal ambitions, pocketbook, or comfort level. This person can be perceived as my enemy. Jesus taught us to love our enemy. To love only your friends and those who are good to you is the way of the world. I pray for my enemy, that they would have everything I would want for myself, health, prosperity, happiness. In doing this I forgive. Then sometimes something amazing happens. They do prosper and their lives become better. They become a friend.
